NCJW Award Dinner at Embassy Towers

The Greater Bridgeport Section National Council of Jewish Women holds dinner and award celebration Wednesday September 21 at 5 P.M. NCJW member Vivian Wilson, NCJW Past President and Chairperson of NCJW's Sonia B. Weintraub Education Fund is to receive the Hannah B. Solomon Award, given for outstanding service to the community. Hannah B. Solomon was one of the founders of the NCJW, the oldest Jewish women's organization in the United States. Vivian Wilson over many years has obtained and donated thousands of books and reading aids to Bridgeport school libraries. Vivian has worked selflessly to pursue this remarkable achievement.
