GGRD Rec League Level 1

Learn to skate from the Gotham Girls Roller Derby coaches! If you are new to skating and roller derby, have been off skates for 12 months or longer, or are recovering from injury, this is the class for you.
We will cover land drills for general fitness, roller skating basics, and intro roller derby skills. You must have your own skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouthguard. No skating skills are necessary, but you must be able to make it around the track without holding on to walls or people. Women and men are welcome at this non contact class!
Level 1 consists of six weeks of classes on Saturday mornings at our Crashpad. There are no drop-ins; you must sign up for the full course since the classes are cumulative. The cost is $150.
Please also note that we reserve the right to cancel this class with one week of notice in the case of insufficient interest.
