APEC Hiking Club and Trail Crew

The APEC Hiking Club and Trail Crew explores local areas for easy to moderate hikes, with some adventures to the further reaches of Long Island and elsewhere to find areas of interest and natural beauty for day trips. Our Trail Crew will provide the muscle to benefit the Environmental Center, for clean ups and other trail work. This is an activity for adults. Membership in APEC is required, and our current additional dues of $25 will cover chartering costs in the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, books and maps, and insurance. We will rely on the Trail Conference to guide us in developing the trail crew, in working with the Environmental Center. We intend to whistle while we work, so come out for the fun!
