What are colleges looking for in your essays? What do they mean by “authentic” writing? What are the various types of essays? Learn how to approach essay topics in an original and distinctive manner. You will be guided step-by-step as you brainstorm a topic and draft your story with supporting anecdotes.
Co-Facilitators:
Lynn Haney is a noted Guilford author who has written 12 books, including biographies of Josephine Baker and Gregory Peck.
Marcia Myhre is an Educational Consultant who visits over 30 colleges each year and attends essay writing workshops sponsored at national conferences. She holds a certificate from the Columbia Writing Project.
Cost: $95.00. Snacks provided. Flexibility in days attending if you have a scheduling conflict.
