The Newark Museum houses one of the most extensive and oldest collections of African art in the nation and is the only museum in the country with a gallery devoted to a permanent collection of contemporary African Art. This presentation explores how beauty, humanity, power and spirituality are interpreted artistically across the various cultures of the African continent. Pre-registration required.
