Established in 1955 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization, The Mental Health Assocaion in Suffolk County, Inc. is dedicated to promoting mental wellness by means of support services, education, and advocacy.
Information & Referral- MHAS provides a information and refferals to community resources for persons living with mental illness, their families and service providers. Our online Community Resource Database is easily accessible 24 hours a day. The database contains more than 350 resources, including governmental resources, not-for-profits and private practicioners.
Support Groups- MHA offers a variety of support groups for community members. These groups are held throughout Suffolk County. For meeting information please contact our office at (631) 226-3900.
