The descendants of the Connecticut 29th Infantry from the Civil War will be on hand for a panel discussion about their ancestors’ contributions to the Civil War and the importance of keeping their legacies alive. The panelists include Harrison Mero, Warren Barnett, Jacqueline Buster and Adeline Tucker. Photos of the 29th monument (installed in 2008 on the original encampment grounds – here in New Haven, CT) will be available for viewing and descendants will appear in uniform.
