The Arri Alexa camera has taken the television and feature film world by storm and advanced digital filmmaking to a new level. AbelCine works closely with Arri on both selling and supporting the Alexa. As part of this effort, we have put together two Alexa Workshops, which will be led by AbelCine’s experts. The Alexa Camera Workshop is focused on camera operation and image control, while the Alexa Workflow Workshop is focused on workflow and post production. The two days are designed to work in conjunction, but each Alexa Workshop may be attended individually.
Anyone who purchases an Arri Alexa from AbelCine may attend one of the workshop days for free. Please click here to request a coupon code worth one free day.

ALEXA Workflow & Post Workshop
The Alexa Workflow Workshop is led by AbelCine specialists. We will start by focusing on Arriraw, exploring the file structure and transcode options, plus learn how to directly process the material. This will be followed by a study of workflow techniques for bringing both Arriraw and Alexa ProRes files into Final Cut Pro and Avid, creating dailies and deliverables. We will demonstrate several options for on set and in post workflow options. We will also learn how to create and manage Arri Looks and Luts, both the import into the camera and to incorporate into post workflow.
