Caribbean-American Festival at Children's Museum of the Arts (CMA)

Join CMA in celebrating the rich arts and culture of NYC’s Caribbean-American community. This festival will include performing and visual art experiences to teach families and children about traditional and contemporary arts of Caribbean culture. The featured guest artist for the Caribbean Festival will be master Haitian drummer Gaston Jean-Baptiste, known as “Bonga,” and his drum and dance troupe. Day includes drumming workshops, exploration of mask-making traditions, storytelling.
