Now that the holiday season is over, the Gotham Gastronomes gatherings will resume...and just in time for Restaurant Week!
We're kicking off 2012 on January 23rd at Le Cirque and then on February 8th at Tulsi, a new standout regional Indian restaurant that has joined Devi (the venue of our 75-seat, sold-out November event) in the ranks of NYC's Michelin-starred restaurants. Tulsi, led by critically-acclaimed chef Helmant Mathur, features regionally-inspired Indian cuisine spanning the spectrum from updated street food to signature tandoor-grilled dishes. Mathur has been described as cooking with "rare brilliance" and his dishes as "magical," "wickedly fine," and "performing miracles" (New York Times). We'll be continuing our foray into New York's top Indian restaurants with a special night at Tulsi, where we've negotiated the entire space and what promises to be an exciting taste experience at a special rate.
Per traditional Restaurant Week pricing, the 3-course prix-fixe dinner will cost $35 (not including tax, 20% gratuity, etc.). Here's the menu:
