Sugar is a sweet and sexy weekly electro party hosted by Rynka and Menace, now in its second year. Check out our swanky new location, The Delancey Bar & Nightclub, 168 Delancey Street, NYC! Each week, Sugar presents a new feature-length show ($8) with live burlesque and variety performers (sideshow, magic, classic vaudeville and comedy acts) to dazzle and delight you; delicious go-go girls shaking it all night; and a free electro dance after-party starting around 11pm. Come early for the show, stay late to dance!!! This week, the Home for Wayward Girls & Fallen Women is finally getting some class! True British Royalty is staying in the Home, and her name is The Duchess Barbra Tillsbury . (Who happens to be Peter Aguero in disguise, but no one else seems to have caught on.) Join us for a night of "burlesque with a loose plot"* featuring: Bird Of Paradise Boobess The Baroness Cherry Pitz Magdalena Fox Weirdee Girl and your host, Moth Grandslam Champion, Peter Aguero ! * Nelson Lugo of Vaudeville Nouveau with Joe The Shark at the door. Tickets are $8 or two for $15, and doors are at 8:00pm. Doors are at 8:00pm! After the show, stick around for DJ Cub and Menace spinning the best booty-shakin' electro, breaks, synthpop and more ; a big dance floor just waiting for you to get down; and electro go-go by Veronica Vroom! and Rynka Rye . We're also offering our usual $5 whiskey and PBR specials all night long, plus 2-for-1 well drinks from 10-11:00pm.
