How to Teach Yourself to Code // TECH 121
Mattan Griffel, Founder and CEO, The Front Labs
Thursday, February 9th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm
If you have an idea but no technical co-founder, this class is for you. Demand for freelance developers has skyrocketed to unprecedented levels, but you can teach yourself to code prototypes quickly in a few weeks. In this class, I'll show you how I built my first fully-functional app with less than one month's experience coding. We'll cover the best ways to teach yourself (how to actually make it fun) and what key resources you need to know about.
Mattan Griffel is founder and CEO of The Front Labs, a marketing agency for startups based in New York City. I'm a member of The Social Media Society, The Advertising Club of New York, and the Interactive Advertising Bureau. I organized the first-ever Social Activity Summit in NYC this past April, and have played a role in various industry events – including General Mill's Masters of Digital series, Nestle's SPARK series, and AT&T Labs Fast Pitch – and various industry conferences – including ad:tech, IAB, ANA, and iMedia events.
