Lyrics from Lockdown Performance

Saturday, Feb 11 7:00p
Price: $20
Age Suitability: All Ages

This unbelievably true story begins when Brooklyn's own Nuyorican Grand Slam Poetry Champion, Bryonn Bain, is wrongly imprisoned in NYC jails while studying law at Harvard. Thought-provoking and hilarious, 40 characters speak through one man on stage as this hip hop theater, spoken word poetry, calypso, classical music and blues-infused concert experience. First premiered last fall to a sold-out crowd at The Public Theater in NYC as the grand finale of the NYC Hip Hop Theater Festival.
