The ROC - The Resource and Opportunity Center

The ROC is an enrichment and community center located on St. Mark's Place on the second floor of the Little Missionary Day Nursery building. For over a hundred years this building has been home to programs dedicated to the enrichment of children, families and the communities of the Lower East Side, and the ROC is following in that tradition.

We offer a variety of classes, workshops and activities including martial arts, visual arts, cooking, yoga, knitting, sewing, and academic classes as well as affordable rental space for playgroups, birthday parties, group gatherings, movie nights, parenting workshops, rehearsals and performances, studio and exhibit space, etc.
