We are celebrating “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS EN EL BARRIO”DAY OF THE DEAD to honor the victims of Hate and Racial Crime. Join us in commemorating them by reviving an ancient tradition “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS” in New York.
Cecomex is celebrating for 3rd year event “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS AL AIRE LIBRE EN EL BARRIO”

The community is encouraged and welcome to bring photos of their loved ones, candles, flowers, fruits, toys or any object in memory of the loved they wish to honor, the offering and photos will be placed in CECOMEX Altar.
DIA DE LOS MUERTOS AL AIRE LIBRE EN EL BARRIO” will be a cultural event where traditional altars will be on display to honor the memories of family members that have passed away, this event will bring our community together for a fun filled evening of Hispanic heritage and crafts such as Papel Picado, face painting, celebration, and at the same time reviving an ancient tradition and passing down this cultural tradition from generation to generation.
Also we will have a contest for the best Dia de Muertos costume.
A family event for the community.

Acompáñenos en la conmemoración tendremos un Altar dedicado a aquellos que murieron por el Odio racial, además reviviendo una tradición antigua”:

Domingo 31 de Octubre de 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Estamos celebrando “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS EN EL BARRIO” para honrar la pérdida de vidas de aquellos que perecieron por causas de odio racial.

Cecomex celebra el 3er evento anual “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS AL AIRE LIBRE EN EL BARRIO” Este Domingo 31 de Octubre, se tocara música en vivo en honor de los difuntos. Exhortamos a nuestra comunidad a que traigan fotos de sus seres queridos, velas, flores, frutas, juguetes o cualquier objeto en su memoria o que desea honrar, el ofrecimiento y las fotos serán colocadas en el altar de CECOMEX. Un evento único en la ciudad de Nueva York acontecimiento cultural donde estarán los altares tradicionales en la exhibición para honrar las memorias de los miembros de la familia que han fallecido, este acontecimiento traerán a nuestra comunidad a que juntos pasemos una tarde llena diversión y así fomentar nuestra cultura en el exterior, tendremos demostraciones de Picado, pintura de la cara, celebración, y al mismo tiempo restablecimiento de una tradición antigua y pasar abajo de esta tradición cultural de la generación a la generación.

También habrá concurso al mejor disfraz de Catrína o Catrín, Día de Los Muertos.
