Anyone can be an interior designer with the help of this textile shop. Owner Warren Kay sources materials from his textile mills in Europe and Asia, giving crafty customers access to fabrics (so you can finally custom-make those damask-print window treatments you’ve been dreaming about). Fans of his quality work include fashion icons like Taylor Swift and Diane von Furstenberg. Fabric costs $35 to $225 per yard, and can be used to cover pillows ($50–$160), to upholster Peter and the Wolf furniture ($1,500–$9,000) and to create drapes ($165–$900). Wolf Home’s New York location is only the beginning. With a recently opened Chicago store and additional locations slated to open later this year, Wolf Home will continue to be the source for luxury home design. From designing personalized furnishings for the White House to Warren’s innovative drapes from a box, the Wolf Home line has something for everyone. “I find inspiration everywhere,” he explains of textiles. Adding, “I am fortunate enough to be able dream something and to wake up in the morning and have the means to make it manifest.”
